How to Cook Arcot Instant Biryani (Pressure Cooker / Instant Pot)

• Gently wash seeraga samba rice and soak for 20 minutes (If Basmati rice, soak 30 mins) In a pressure cooker, add the masala kit contents, 400g of chicken, meat, or vegetables, and sauté for 1 minute. (For mutton or goat, pressure cook the meat separately for ~30 minutes first.)

• Add 400ml of water and bring to a boil. Strain the soaked rice and add to the cooker. (Salt is pre-added; adjust to taste.)

• Cook on medium heat for 2 whistles (or 3 mins on low pressure in an Instant Pot). Let it rest for 20–30 minutes before serving.
